The end of Finale....
Anyone in the business knows the impact of MakeMusic's decision to end support for Finale. Luckily, MakeMusic heard the roar and they decided that owners of the software will still be able to install it on new computers, so it's not going wanywhere, it's just not being supported. I still have a working copy of Finale installed and can use it as needed.
Currently, Dorico is my preferred notation software, and I use Cubase as my DAW. I'm very active on some Dorico Facebook groups. I have Sibelius and Pro Tools available if needed. I am also a beta tester for Cantai, a vocal synthesizer that is breaking new ground in creating vocals that can sing lyrics.
